The Hunt

In Alabama, there is perhaps nothing more exciting on a spring morning than hearing the rolling sound of a turkey gobble… and building up the anticipation to hunt that bird. At Pursell Farms, we are blessed with diverse habitat that provides an ideal home for wild turkeys. The hunter and an experienced guide will have many options – from the high, longleaf-pine ridges of Sulfur Mountain to the bottoms of Pennywinkle Creek. We offer only a few hunts per season, so each hunter will have the best opportunity to have an unforgettable, turkey-hunting experience. Expect to locate birds and hunt hard to get an elusive Eastern turkey.

Turkey Hunting

Includes: 3-night stay, 3 meals per day, 3 morning hunts, 2 afternoon hunts, guide and transportation around farm.
(2 gobbler limit; arrive on the afternoon of day 1 and depart at noon on the last day)

Additional Information

We only take 2 hunters per day; each will have his or her own guide.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations and/or changes made to the original reservation must be made at least 30 days prior to the reservation date.
